Re: Christmas time is no time to be giving away puppies
by wrestlersmom
so true and so funny. just thought i would share a story about my 7 month old doberman puppy. He doesnt look like a puppy anymore he is huge, 78 pounds. but he's not fat, sleek and muscular from all the running around he does. my husband, bless his soul gets grossed out very easily. i mean if he hears puking anywhere near hearing distance he immediatley starts gagging and usually pukes too.needless to say I'm the one that has shit duty. and puke duty and anything nasty duty. so Ruger is into everything and loves terrorizing our older min pins. sometimes i just put him in another room so that my old ladies can have an hour of peace and quiet. the other day,Minnie, my 13 yr old min pin needed some loving so i put him in the laundry room and cuddled on the couch with her for about 30 minutes. Ruger likes ALL the attention from everybody so this was a real treat for Minnie. when i went to go get him out he had dumped all the dirty clothes from the hamper and threw anthing that wasnt bolted to the wall all over the place. so i picked everything up and let him outside. he played and ran and did all the dog things he does. my husband came home from work and let all the dogs in and sat on the couch to take his shoes off. Ruger came up to him and just puked a pink slimy ball of something. of course he puked right after Ruger so I ran in to clean up the mess. Good old Ruger had eaten a pair of pink panties and there they were, all in one piece just full of undigested food and slime. And all the contents of my husbands lunch too. i was laughing so hardas i cleaned up that there was no way i could get grossed out too. besides that is what i do everyday at work anyway. So just another warning. If you have a puppy, keep track of your chonies and put everything , i mean EVERYTHING, even stuff you wouldnt think they would eat, out of sight.
