The little pup I got the other day has really taken to Alyssa, just like all the other animals around here.  He fell asleep curled up next to her. 

Alyssa is home to take care of me while I recuperate from my surgery.  It has been great to have my youngest home from the Army.

I bought this plant about a month ago at Walmart for a buck or so.  It was a tiny thing, with three leaves.  Now look at it.  I think it really likes the old oak I planted it next to.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg dropped the Democrats, now the Republicans, all the while screwing everyone out of their personal freedoms as quickly as he could.  Why?  Who knows?  Maybe someone forgot to hold his hand when he crossed a street when he was a kid and he never got over it.  Maybe it is his personal power trip.  Whatever the case, he wants to ruin rule everyone else's personal lives.

Now there is talk about him running for president.  Oh, I could see that.  Right.  The bastard that sent private investigators into neighboring states to illegally buy guns so he could sue the gun dealers--this guy thinks that Regular Joe and Joette gun owners are going to vote for him?  The guy who thinks banning transfats in restaurants (where most people go to get away from their damn diets, thank you) is HIS right.  Fuck him, and the piss-assed, spavined, knocked kneed pony he rode in on.
