I was the one who wanted to move out farther, more rural. Out where there are dead spots for cell phones.  I sure paid for it in the last twenty-four hours.  I have been up all night trying to fix my telephone line; the rains found every little crack and water got in.

It was Ronald's day off, but since he just got that little San Juan 21', he has been out there messing with it.  (Yes, I will post pictures, as soon as I fix the phones and the damn rains stop.)

He would have helped more, but originally I had been told that the whole line was out.  So he puttered around with his new/old sailboat.

Come to find out it was from the box into the house.  So I have a cheater in, and will have to run real lines later today.  I am sure he will help me with that, since I have an absolute terror of going up the attic ladder, and all the lines are up there.   (And the raccoon who fell through our ceiling makes me a little worried about wildlife in the attic as well.)

I have a real fear of having no 911, and having no way for my mom or kids to call me other than a cellphone.  Out here, cellphone reception is spotty.  At least I have had our satellite internet over the last 24.
