...and we are very proud of her.  She missed Sharpshooter by one shot, which she is upset with herself about (we aren't upset, we are still proud of her; she is a little person and those are big guns), but that is okay, she still passed.  She graduates on August 4th, but we don't have the money to go see the graduation.

Alyssa's AIT is in San Antonio, Texas at Ft. Sam Houston, which is where many US Army medical personnel train (it calls itself "The Home of the Combat Medic").  She will be an Animal Care Specialist; she will be working with the animals (probably cleaning stalls somewhere, but that is okay with her).  She is excited, and we are excited for her.
