Approximately 400 dead bottlenosed dolphins washed up on the shore in Tanzania.  Scientists do not know the reason for this mass die off of a species that does not normally inhabit the area.  Local residents were burying the dolphins after removing the dolphins' livers, which the residents use to waterproof boats.

St. Gabriel police are asking the public to help identify a man who was caught on a surveillance tape having sex with a horse at a stable.  According to the story:

The police investigation began about two months ago after the owners of the born reported finding sexual paraphernalia in a horse stall, according to Ambeau. The chief says that’s when the owner put up two cameras and captured images of a slender, light skinned man walking between two stables. “Always (going) to the same animal” Ambeau observed. “On the tape, he was (going) to the same animal performing sexual acts.

Another sicko screwing around with an animal.  Top that off, this creep could be messing up years of training the owners have put into the animal.  Hopefully, his abuse will not make the horse distrust people.

is how I am spending the last few days before my youngest goes off to the Army.  She has to finish her classes, then we will take a couple of days off to go see her grandparents.  Meanwhile, I have written a few Deeper Dungeons levels and keep checking the little mare, who still hasn't given birth.

Strangely, I have received several emails asking about the youngest puppies, who were born a year ago yesterday.  Almost like the ads I put up got recycled or something.  There are two of them left, but 50 to 60 pound year old dogs aren't puppies, even if they are still cute.
