View Article  Three young heros try to save the lives of two young boys

The three young teenagers below tried to save the lives of two young brothers found at the bottom of a pool.  Sadly, one of the two young brothers died.  But the three young people below are still heros, still wonderful role models for their classmates and other young adults to follow.

They are very good representatives of their generation--one that is often overlooked by many in our country. The actions of they and their contemporaries are often motivated by just wanting to help.  Many of the young people in their generation are selfless, generous, hard working, big hearted, and hopeful.  These three have already proven they want to help others; their actions also prove they are personally courageous.  I hope where they lead, others will follow.

I wish there was something I could say that could ease the pain they are feeling (from the picture the pain is obvious) and the boys' parents are feeling this night, other than to say, my prayers are with them.

View Article  My legs are baked red as a lobster and YES, I DID put sunblock on

Ron and I went out in the boat today for several hours.  I had on a black tank bathing suit, and I had spread sunblock all over me.

Guess what?  It didn't work. On the first hand, since I had some shade for my face from both the sail and my hair, my face got burned but it isn't horrible.  On the second hand, Ron saw that my back was turning red, he found a t-shirt for me, so my back isn't one nasty painful area.  On the gripping hand, the upper parts of my legs (the most pasty part of me) were not covered by anything while I was sitting on the deck fishing.

Both thighs are very, very red and very, very painful.

Oh well, I caught some nice fish (which I threw back).

I might post more pictures tomorrow.  Tonight I think I am going to roll around in aloe vera gelly to take some heat out of these burns.
