Does it come with rabbits?
The whole swamp rabbit story (as my late Grandpa from Mississippi would say "Sorry folks, thems ain't swamp rabbits, thems are 'cane cutters', dang yanks.") still cracks me up. I was a sophomore at the time, was chasing my future husband outrageously, when the whole "attack rabbit" story hit the news. Sophomoric was definitely the adjective that anybody would use about the MSM coverage of that unfortunate event, and all the snide jokes that have come out of it to this day.
Had to feel sorry for the rabbit, though. It was just trying not to drown.
But years later, when we got a very aggressive rabbit from a feed store, she got named "Attack Rabbit". A few days later, we realized her whole problem, when she gave birth. After that, she was a pretty good old doe, though she did give birth to one we called "Rabies".
Unlike her mom, Rabies never did grow out of her aggressiveness; she would attack us, attempt to attack rabbits in surrounding cages, kill all of her babies, and try to kill the males put in with her for breeding. She became freezer meat after she sliced and diced her third litter.
