Patricia Devine of Walpole, MA, has been arrested for slashing the throat and stabbing her great dane Gracie.  The police found Devine lying on top of the dead dog, a butcher knife in the poor dog's chest and both covered in blood.  Devine was high on cocaine and had been drinking.  She told police that her boyfriend wanted her to get rid of the dog, but she didn't want to give the dog away, so she killed it.
