The webpage is running, but still under construction.  I am hoping to get some time to talk to Pam about setting up an Amazon donation button, to go with the PayPal button I am putting up.  Adoption fees never cover the cost of caring for the dogs; vet bills, feed bills, grooming supplies, housing, the list goes on and on.

First seen on Fark.

A British inventor, James Larsson, has made an automatic cat feeder using the drive and timer from an old VCR.  Sounds cool to me, I have a ton of old equipment here I can salvage...and four cats to feed.

A developer bought out a pet cemetary that had been operating for 35 years in Raleigh, NC and now 500 or so pets have to be moved.  The two acres may be the future home of a hotel.

At least they are moving the bodies.  Imagine Poltergiest made up of pissed off rottweilers and pit bulls....

My daughter Alyssa and I have both been busy this weekend helping Pam Sanidakos.  Alyssa helped Pam by going with her to Petco and walking the dogs up for adoption.  I am helping her by working on a new, although basic, website for her at www.nabs-tx.com.

I am not trying to make the page fancy; I am just trying to help her get the word out about her adoptable dogs.  She has many Katrina dogs so at this point, anything will help.

Of course, that  means that I won't be blogging much for a few days.  I have lots of work to do.  I will be retyping and remaking all of her forms so people who want to adopt dogs can just download the forms, fill them out, and email them to her.  Currently, she has them as .bmp files; huge and hard to edit.  I will be making up stationery.  Making up business cards. Setting up the webpage.  Anything I can do to help.

I may not be able to walk the dogs or help much money wise, but I can do a few things still.

I received an email this morning from Barmollys Place, saying they have just opened a new online store.  They sell dry goods, supplies, gifts and live spiders and snakes.

Since I haven't been blogging on household pets other than cats and dogs, I guess I will just have to come up with another category...
