So I am out (again). No one has yet to figure out what happened, or why my temperature was so messed up. I have very few memories of the first few hours in the ER; supposedly I was held in the hallway for an hour, but I only remember being there for just a few seconds. I only remember the triage area because they took my temperature twice, and my daughters were arguing with the nurses, telling them that my temperature had been very low. Beyond that, I don't remember much except after getting into a regular ER room.
The only abnormalities they could find was a slightly elevated aspirin level and that I had barbituates in my system. Well, duh. I always have barbs in my system. I have to take them daily. The aspirin level doesn't make much sense--until the over thirty pounds I lost is counted. Maybe all my medicines need to be adjusted for the loss. (I was trying to wait until I finished losing weight. I guess I don't have the option of waiting.)
I did get bit by a spider right before I became ill this time. My hand and arm are still swollen. Jessica said she believes it was a black widow. I don't know.
Here's to hoping I get over all of this, and soon. I want to have at least a slightly more normal life.
