Well, Mom has ended up admitted for observation to the hospital again. Although not for chest pain or weird blood sugar readings. But because, when we could get a reading from thermometer, it read 90.9 F.
I kid you not.
Of course, the triage nurses thought we were joking. Until they took it in triage, with two different thermometers, and it read 92.8 F. (And this is with us having had the heater on blasting, and her having walked out to the car more-or-less under her own power.) I even almost got an apology from them.
By the time I write this post, she is in a real room in the hospital (I refuse to leave anyone alone in ER), and asleep. Her temperature is much closer to her normal, and she's doing much much better. But because the ER doctor had not a single clue as to what caused the problem, he admitted her for observation.
And I want to know if we're charter members of the hospital yet. ![]()
