According to the Houston Chronicle, three spottings of endangered jaguarundis at the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge have encouraged wildlife biologist Linda Laack (also known for her ocelot research) to set up cameras trying to get a picture of the animals.  There hasn't been a documented encounter with a wild specimen of that animal in the United States since 1986 when one was found outside of Brownsville dead.

This is a picture of a jaguarundi in a zoo.  Described as "weasel-like", these cats are some of the only solid colored felines in the wild.  They are also only slightly larger than a domesticated cat--about 8 to 16 pounds.
