Madonna was one of our great danes.  She was murdered with rat poison when she was four years old (in this picture she is about 11 months old).  Some boys that lived on a greyhound breeding farm and at the nearby junkyard didn't like her because she would bark at them when they would walk to each others' houses along the road.

We were never able to prove who killed her, but we always knew.  Two of the boys who lived at the junkyard have spent time in the state pen, as well as the boy who lived at the greyhound breeding farm.
