Belle FINALLY had her little foal about 2:30 AM.  We can't get close enough to verify, but Ronald and I believe it is a colt.  Cute little bugger, very dark palomino with spots like Shorty.

Belle looks a little worse for wear though.  We already give her sweet feed and hay, I think I am going to start adding Calf Manna to her feed and increase the protein level of her feed.  She's going to need it, with a new mouth to feed.

Our mini mare Belle is getting very close to her due date.  Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what that date is, since she was pasture bred.  Alyssa really hopes it is soon, because Alyssa leaves for US Army boot camp on May 16th.

Okay, this is just plain grotesque.  Bad enough that there are states that don't have laws against screwing a pooch; now one of the states that does have laws against it wants to soften the law.  Currently, a person who has sex with an animal can face up to 20 years in prison.  The new bill would decrease the penality to as little as a fine or as much as two and a half years in local jails.

Whoever the weirdos are that introduced this hateful piece of trash needs to be under the care of a mental health professional...
