Notes: UPDATE*** Heartworm treatment completed and Freeway is doing fine. Freeway came to us on 3/25/05 from a woman whose children have all grown up and who herself has been quite ill necessitating 5 surgeries this year alone making it difficult for her to adequately love and care for Freeway and feels she would be better in a home with more attention. Freeway was originally rescued by this woman off a freeway while just a pup. Freeway is 8 yrs. old at this time and weighs 34 lbs.. She did live inside the house some and was well behaved but has spent most of her time recently outside due to the womans declining health condition. She is now residing at the Sanctuary and has 3 small size dogs for roommates. She seems to be quite happy having someone to play with everyday but I am sure she misses having her very own family to give her loving every day as she has known for the past 8 years.. She is spayed, had her rabies, 7 in l vaccination and has been wormed. She tested positive for heartworms and was treated on Friday 4/8/05. She is a very very sweet and loving girl and would love to be in a home with her very own one on one attention and love.
