View Article  Noah's Ark Bayou Sanctuary Animal Rescue Update
The webpage is running, but still under construction.  I am hoping to get some time to talk to Pam about setting up an Amazon donation button, to go with the PayPal button I am putting up.  Adoption fees never cover the cost of caring for the dogs; vet bills, feed bills, grooming supplies, housing, the list goes on and on.

My daughter Alyssa and I have both been busy this weekend helping Pam Sanidakos.  Alyssa helped Pam by going with her to Petco and walking the dogs up for adoption.  I am helping her by working on a new, although basic, website for her at www.nabs-tx.com.

I am not trying to make the page fancy; I am just trying to help her get the word out about her adoptable dogs.  She has many Katrina dogs so at this point, anything will help.

Of course, that  means that I won't be blogging much for a few days.  I have lots of work to do.  I will be retyping and remaking all of her forms so people who want to adopt dogs can just download the forms, fill them out, and email them to her.  Currently, she has them as .bmp files; huge and hard to edit.  I will be making up stationery.  Making up business cards. Setting up the webpage.  Anything I can do to help.

I may not be able to walk the dogs or help much money wise, but I can do a few things still.

The Brazoria County Fair starts October 14th and runs for eight days.  It has the highest attendance of any county fair in Texas (which makes it one of the highest attended county fairs in the US).  This eight day party really gets moving at night, with wrist bands at the carnival and great food at the different stands near the entrance.  There are also all the great livestock to check out as well as a petting zoo.  That doesn't even include the live entertainment....
